China News Service, Yinchuan, June 19 (Reporter Yang Di) On June 19, the 2026 second "Minning Family" Basketball Invitational Tournament kicked off in Minning Town, Yongning County, Yinchuan City, Ningxia. 12 basketball teams from Xiamen and Yinchuan used basketball as a link, conveyed friendship through competition, and continued to write a story of cooperation across thousands of miles of mountains and seas in the competition.

This event is jointly sponsored by Yinchuan Sports Bureau, Xiamen Sports Bureau, Yongning County Committee of the Communist Party of China, and Yongning County People's Government. It is a key brand event for normal cultural and sports exchanges between Minning and Ningxia.
The event brought together 6 representative teams from Xiamen City and 6 representative teams from Yinchuan City, with a total of 12 teams and more than 150 athletes participating. The competition schedule lasts for four days, from June 19th to June 22nd. The event adopts a professional competition system with group circulation and cross-qualification. The participating players include cadres from Fujian aiding Ningxia, sports enthusiasts from Minning and Ningxia, employees of local enterprises and institutions, and rural mass athletes, creating a mass sports event that is participated by and shared by all.
During the event, the Minning Love Exhibition Game and the National Three-Point Shooting Contest were staged in turn, creating a lively and interactive atmosphere. This event also specially invited Yang Wenxue, a well-known local basketball star in Ningxia and an active CBA player, to come to the stage to participate in the Minning Love Exhibition Competition and compete with the players from both places.
