Many films are scheduled for the National Day holiday, with diverse themes and attractions. During this year’s National Day holiday, the film market welcomed many new films, and the film lineup continued to expand. As of now, more than 10 films have been scheduled for National Day, covering comedy, suspense, romance, animation and other diverse themes. They are rich in genres and full of attractions to meet different audiences' viewing preferences.

"Trace of the Detective" tells the story of Cui Xun, a trace inspection expert who grew from an underappreciated technician to a legendary figure who has repeatedly set precedents. He worked side by side with forensic doctor Huang Rende and criminal policeman Wang Weiguo, and worked together to solve many major cases. The film is based on real cases and integrates breakthroughs and developments in criminal investigation technology into the case investigation narrative. Through multiple cases in different eras, the audience can not only see the perseverance of generations of criminal investigators, but also see them support each other under limited conditions, repeatedly compare and verify from the smallest traces, and step by step open the door to the truth.

"What Do You Mean Couple" stars Xiao Shenyang and Shen Chunyang. The film tells the funny story of a couple who have been married for many years and are forced to experience each other's lives after an unexpected "soul" exchange.

"Rebirth 2" continues the realistic narrative style of the previous game, telling the story of two victims who lost their loved ones, working together to track down the crime and break through the darkness. Liang Luoshi, Man Junhui, Sammo Hung, Bai Ke, Aruna and other powerful actors co-starred in the plot, which is tense and suspenseful.

"Lively Colors" focuses on the emotions and lives of middle-aged and elderly people, tells the story of women's second life choices and mutual support, and shows delicate life observations. Three actors, Yan Ni, Ye Tong, and Ni Hongjie, performed on the same stage. They laughed and cried, which was warm and healing.

"Detective War" tells the story of a detective trapped in a trap after a secret room murder case, unraveling lies amidst numerous doubts, and fighting against multiple forces. The film stars Louis Koo and Zisha, and a number of powerful actors such as Simon Yam and Tse Kwan-ho compete on the same stage. It is full of suspense and tension.

"Peppa Pig - Perfect Holiday" is the first three-dimensional animated film in the "Peppa Pig" series. The story tells the story of a sudden storm that brought Page to China. Peppa Pig unlocks wonderful adventures along the way until she reunites with her family and has the perfect vacation. The film continues the consistent warm and cute style of the series and is suitable for the whole family to watch and share a warm time.

"Heart of the Beast" stars Brad Pitt and tells the story of interdependence and two-way redemption between the male protagonist and the war dog in an extreme environment. The hard-core survival scenes in the film are full of tension, and the emotional lines between humans and animals are delicate and touching.

"Resident Evil: Outbreak Night" returns to the "Resident Evil" series after nine years. "Resident Evil: Outbreak Night" tells the story of Brian, an ordinary person who was accidentally caught in a biochemical catastrophe in the city. He used his meager power to fight against bloodthirsty alien species and solve the mystery of the crisis, and thus launched an extreme breakthrough about survival and choice. (Friendly reminder: minors should watch with caution)

In addition, films such as "Dunhuang Heroes", "Old Rivers and Lakes", "Red Boy King of the Flame Mountain", "Titanie's Horn", "Gluster Hand", "New Big Head Son and Little Head Dad: The Eye of the Sky Series: The Seventh Day Out of Control" are also on the National Day schedule.

From watching movies to watching games, theaters are "trying new things" across borders to open up new tracks. Nowadays, cinema screens can not only watch movies, but also watch live broadcasts of major games. On September 30, the 2026 China Tennis Open screen live broadcast event launched by "China Film Super Live" in cooperation with more than 100 movie theaters was officially launched. The evening opener was simultaneously presented in nearly 100 movie theaters in 28 provinces and cities across the country. This is the first time that a Chinese film has brought a top tennis event to online screens.

"China Film Super Live" will also simultaneously present all of Zheng Qinwen's duels at this year's China Open, with key matches covering the men's and women's singles semi-finals and finals. For fans, watching games in theaters is another highly immersive option.

Huaxia Cinema's full-height frame LED theater uses high frame rate and high-brightness images to present details of the ball's trajectory, rotation and landing point, and cooperates with the panoramic sound field to restore the crisp sound of hitting the ball and the sound of the scene. There is no need to grab tickets, no need to be exposed to the sun and rain, and drinks and snacks are provided at one stop. Watching games in the theater is changing from an "alternative solution" to an active choice for more and more fans.

From light and shadow to the stadium, the live broadcast of events into theaters is reshaping the business logic of theaters. It is no longer just the end of content, but a new starting point for traffic and consumption, laying a solid foundation for the theater to transform from a single screening space to an urban cultural and sports consumption hub. When theaters are no longer just "a place to watch movies" but become "a place for collective emotional resonance", their commercial and social value may be redefined.

The movie-watching experience with special effects has been upgraded, and “Movie+” has ignited consumption in the business district. The 2026 National Day film types are diverse, and the special effects hall has also become one of the important factors to enhance the audience's movie-watching experience and stimulate movie-watching enthusiasm. Not only that, it also effectively activates consumption in business districts and adds new vitality to the city's real economy.

This year's National Day movies are scheduled to be released, and many popular movies have launched special effects hall versions. "Heart of the Beast", which will be released on National Day on September 30, supports full special effects hall formats such as IMAX and CINITY. Big scenes such as snowstorms and wolf chases in the extreme cold wilderness of Alaska will greatly enhance the immersion when watching in the special effects hall. It is a priority choice for action movie lovers.

"Trace of the Detective", which was released on the National Day on October 1, has launched an IMAX version, which can better present the criminal investigation details and chronological texture that span decades in the film. In addition, the audiovisual impact of the National Day film "Rebirth 2" and other action scenes on a rainy night street fight in special effects theaters such as IMAX will be far greater than that of ordinary theaters.

In recent years, special effects rooms have increasingly become an important factor in stimulating audiences' enthusiasm for watching movies. The continuous influx of passengers has effectively boosted the popularity and consumption of surrounding business districts.

During the National Day holiday, go to a screen appointment and feel the charm of light and shadow.
