The Microelectronics Forum is a platform for demonstrating the achievements of the Russian electronics industry.
MOSCOW, October 4 – RIA Novosti. Residents of the special economic zone (SEZ) Technopolis Moscow presented new developments at the XII Russian Forum Microelectronics 2026, said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of the capital for transport and industry.
“On behalf of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the city pays special attention to the development of microelectronics, which plays a key role in ensuring the technological sovereignty of the country. Today, the SEZ has more than 30 enterprises that provide the Russian market with a domestic electronic component base, optical devices and other innovative equipment. At the Microelectronics-2026 forum, residents demonstrated chemical materials for photolithography, equipment for the production of semiconductor wafers, a wide range of microcircuits and electrical converters,” Liksutov noted, his words were quoted by the SEZ press service.
The Element Technologies company presented an electrical energy converter designed for data centers that are built for the development of artificial intelligence. Now they are switching to a new power scheme: electricity is supplied through a common DC bus of 800 volts, and the converter steps down the voltage to 12 volts, which the servers directly need, and serves as their main power source.
A high-precision robot loader was demonstrated by the Proton plant. The device is intended for use in special technological equipment used for transferring semiconductor wafers and photomasks. The robot was created to replace imported high-precision robotic solutions. Another development is designed for automated drying of semiconductor wafers.
Among the new solutions from the Mikron plant is a domestic security module based on its own microcontroller, developed for the turnstiles of the Moscow transport hub. Forum participants also saw a single-chip microprocessor with cryptography support and a dual interface, an identification module chip, and a general-purpose industrial RISC-V microcontroller.
The Research Institute of Molecular Electronics presented products in two areas: chemical materials for modern technological processes and trusted solutions. The exhibit includes 15 photolithography chemical components, as well as electronic modules demonstrating how the “root of trust” chip provides secure data transmission in inventory systems, unmanned autonomous systems and smart card readers.
