China Rule of Law International Forum (2026) opens in Shenzhen, attended by Chen Wenqing and Huang Kunming

China News Service, Shenzhen, September 22 (Reporter Suo Youwei) The China Rule of Law International Forum (2026) opened in Shenzhen, Guangdong on the 22nd. Chen Wenqing, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission, attended and delivered a speech. Huang Kunming, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the Guangdong Provincial Committee, attended and delivered a speech.

Guests at the meeting believed that the building of a community with a shared future for mankind advocated by President Xi Jinping has won increasing recognition from the international community. To build a community with a shared future for mankind, we must adhere to the spirit of the rule of law, build international rule of law, and deepen exchanges and mutual learning among legal civilizations. Under the scientific guidance of Xi Jinping's thought on the rule of law, China focuses on solving new problems through scientific legislation, solving practical problems through strict law enforcement, safeguarding social fairness and justice through fair justice, consolidating the foundation of the rule of law through all people abiding by the law, and safeguarding national sovereignty, security, and development interests through foreign-related rule of law. The construction of the socialist rule of law has made historic achievements and undergone historic changes.

Guests attending the meeting said that it is necessary to carry out pragmatic and efficient international legal cooperation and exchanges, adhere to the rule of law to build consensus, promote development, ensure stability, and achieve good governance, promote the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind on the track of the rule of law, and jointly create a more prosperous, stable, fair and just world.

Before the opening ceremony, Chen Wenqing and other guests visited the exhibition of Xi Jinping’s Thought on the Rule of Law. After the opening ceremony, Chen Wenqing met with Chief Justice Sharma of the Supreme Court of Nepal, Chief Justice Perez of the Supreme Court of Samoa, and Chilean National Attorney General Valencia.

The theme of the forum is "Deepening international exchanges and cooperation on the rule of law and providing legal guarantee for building a community with a shared future for mankind."
