据介绍,本届赛事由广东省科学技术厅、广东省教育厅和广东省科学技术协会联合主办,广东科学中心和粤港澳大湾区科技馆联盟承办。大赛以“奋进‘十五五’科技谱新篇”为主题,自今年6月启动以来,共举办选拔赛111场,吸引5387名选手报名参赛。经层层遴选,最终53支代表队、283名选手晋级决赛,参赛规模再创历史新高。
历经多年发展,广东省科普讲解大赛已成为广大科普爱好者与专业人才同台竞技、各展所长的舞台。今年来自暨南大学、华南师范大学、南方医科大学等20多所高校的青年学子也踊跃登台,以扎实的专业功底和蓬勃的青春朝气,为大赛注入时代气息。同时,广大中小学生的参赛热情也日益高涨,本次大赛共有2800多位中小学生积极参与到选拔赛中来。
从长征十号乙火箭海上网系回收、华龙一号核电机组等大国重器,到具身智能、脑机接口、量子计算等前沿科技;从广州塔防风减振的“曲线智慧”、港珠澳大桥的“晃而不倒”之谜,到无核黄皮“三倍体”育种、荔枝超低温冻眠保鲜等特色农业科技;从海马冷泉生态系统、中华白海豚保护等海洋探索,到登革热防控、静脉炎早期识别等医疗健康知识。本次大赛选手讲解选题聚焦“十五五”重点攻关方向,立足粤港澳大湾区建设、“百千万工程”和新质生产力发展成果,将科普深度融入经济社会发展脉络,许多前沿技术不再止步于科研圈层,更是借由大赛舞台向公众生动呈现,将专业领域的攻关突破转化为通俗易懂的科普表达,实现“科普+发展”精准对接。
决赛现场,选手们用属于他们的独特视角讲述着科学与探索、科技与未来、知识与力量的故事。经过激烈角逐,来自河源代表队的叶盈滢等5位选手荣获大赛中小学生组一等奖,来自华南师范大学的李想等10名选手荣获大赛成人组一等奖。大赛还评选出二等奖30名,三等奖45名。
中小学生组评委,广东省青少年科技教育协会理事长、高级工程师黄善辉表示,大赛为青少年提供科普展示与实践平台,激发科学兴趣、提升科学素养,推动科学知识的传播,形成广阔的社会科普氛围。
