With the theme of "Digital Intelligence Empowerment and Innovative Development", this expo covers an exhibition area of 60,000 square meters and has more than 600 exhibitors. It has three major sections: achievement exhibition, equipment exhibition, and concurrent activities. It focuses on presenting the high-quality development results of Shandong education since the "14th Five-Year Plan", comprehensively displays cutting-edge technology and equipment for the entire education and teaching scene, and focuses on building a collaborative innovation ecosystem for government, schools, enterprises, and enterprises.
"Qilu is a land that values culture and education and has a long cultural heritage. Shandong has always placed education in a strategic position of priority development." Chen Bichang, executive deputy secretary of the Education Working Committee of the Shandong Provincial Committee, secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Provincial Department of Education, said at the opening ceremony that this expo uses exhibitions to gather intelligence, build bridges, and empower people, and strives to transform the aggregation effect of the exhibition platform into actual effectiveness in promoting high-quality development of education.
As the core highlight of this Education Expo, the "Education First for Building a Strong Province" Shandong Provincial High-Quality Education Development Achievements Exhibition has a preface hall and four special areas for fair and high-quality development of basic education, integrated development of educational science and technology talents, construction of modern vocational education system, and education opening to the outside world. It systematically presents the practical paths and phased results of promoting and serving the construction of a strong province through education at the provincial, municipal, and school levels.
Education (education and sports) bureaus of 16 cities in Shandong Province, 58 general undergraduate colleges and universities, 48 higher vocational colleges, and 33 secondary vocational schools made a concentrated appearance. Among them, the education (education and sports) bureaus of various cities in the province participated in the exhibition together with more than a hundred primary and secondary schools and related units, demonstrating the solid results of expanding resources, improving quality, and promoting balance in basic education; 106 colleges and universities comprehensively presented their school-running achievements in terms of talent training, discipline construction, technological innovation, social services, and opening to the outside world.
The equipment exhibition has brought together nearly 400 companies to showcase full-scenario solutions for educational digitalization and intelligent equipment, covering multiple fields such as educational technology and equipment, school logistics services, educational financial services, labor education and study practice, and demonstrating the vivid practice of modern educational technology empowering the construction of a powerful education province.
This Education Expo lasted for three days, during which more than 10 activities were held simultaneously, including the finals of the National Youth Scientific Experiment Ability Competition, the "Artificial Intelligence + Education" Innovation and Practice Conference, the release of "good results" by Shandong universities, and the exchange of work experience in the Yellow River Basin Educational Technology and Equipment Collaborative Development Alliance. The participating experts and scholars conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as national competition organization, university canteen management, green and low-carbon development, innovation and entrepreneurship education, research practice in primary and secondary schools, smart sports, integration of industry and education, etc., to further open up the transformation channel between theoretical research, technology research and development and campus application, and promote the implementation of cutting-edge technologies to achieve effective educational results.
