In order to market domestic towels, Yunlin County Mayor candidate and legislator Liu Jianguo of the Democratic Progressive Party and the Yunlin County Towel Industry Science and Technology Development Association will hold the "2026 Yunlin Turban Art Festival" in Huwei Tongxin Park today (3rd) and tomorrow. Nearly 60 specialty markets and towel stalls will be on display. The event venue has also created an immersive "Turban Fantasy Factory" to let the public understand the domestic towel industry through four major levels. The association stated that the event will also include performances by singers and stunt groups, and the public can take advantage of the weekend to participate in the grand event.

Zhou Xincang, chairman of the association, said that tiger tail towels account for 80% of the Taiwan market and are an important towel industry cluster in my country. Therefore, the Turban Art Festival has been held for eight years, hoping to bring the quality of domestic towels to the market and stimulate the local economy.

Zhou Xincang said that the biggest highlight of this year's event is to transform the "product exhibition and sales" of towels into an "immersive experience." Therefore, a "Towel Fantasy Factory" was built at the event venue, allowing the public to enter the exhibition area. Through four major story scenarios and task guidance, the public is led to understand towel raw materials, weaving, dyeing and finishing, and daily applications, so that industrial knowledge is not just a static sign, but also an experience for parents and children to participate together.

Zhou Xincang pointed out that there were as many as 60 markets at the event venue. Many local towel operators set up stalls to sell domestic towels, and some operators offered discounted prices at the event, hoping to let everyone see the quality and local value of tiger tail towels again. In addition, singer Chen Mengxian will sing today, and tomorrow there will be a wonderful performance by singer Hsu Fu Kai and the Taiwan stunt troupe. We hope to boost the economic output of towels through parent-child experience and local tourism.

Liu Jianguo said that Huwei towels have gone through competition and transformation, and have faced many challenges along the way. Towels are a necessity from the beginning to the end of life. He is looking forward to the two-day marketing of domestic towels. He hopes that the crowds will turn into momentum to support the local economy, take Yunlin's best products home, and experience the innovative charm of Huwei towels.
