Franck Muller’s dual watches are shortlisted for the 2026 GPHG finals and will be publicly displayed at Taipei 101 in October

FRANCK MULLER has another good news this year. Both the Round Triple Mystery Skeleton and the Vanguard Curvex Cut Flower have been shortlisted for the 2026 Grand Prix de la Haute Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG). The two works will be the first to appear in Taipei 101 on October 2, kicking off the brand’s high-complexity watchmaking craftsmanship appreciation exhibition open to the public again after 10 years.

The two watches shortlisted this time show the brand's characteristics in terms of complex machinery and jewelry craftsmanship respectively. Among them, the Round Triple Mystery Skeleton competes in the Gem-Set gem-setting category. It abandons the traditional pointer configuration and uses three rotating discs to display hours, minutes, and seconds respectively, making time seem to be suspended above the hollow structure. It is equipped with an MVD 2800-TMY two-way self-winding movement with a power reserve of approximately 42 hours. Another Vanguard Curvex Cut Flower is shortlisted in the Jewelery watch category. It is based on the signature barrel-shaped outline, integrates floral patterns into the hollow design, and creates a three-dimensional layer through the patented Curvex Cut gem cutting and inlay process and pink corundum. It is equipped with the MVT FM 1540-VS21 manual winding self-made movement, with a double barrel design and a 4-day power reserve.

The two GPHG shortlisted works have also become the protagonists of the "2026 FRANCK MULLER High Complexity Watchmaking Appreciation Exhibition". This is the brand's first time in 10 years that it is open to the public for close appreciation. The 2026 new high-complexity works and classic collections from past years will also be gathered at the scene. FRANCK MULLER was founded in 1992 by watchmaker Franck Muller and Vartan Sirmakes, who specializes in jewelry and precious metal craftsmanship. Located on the shores of Lake Geneva, Watchland integrates movement research and development, case manufacturing, gem setting and complex function assembly. The exhibition will be on display at the Metropolis Plaza on the 4th floor of Taipei 101 Shopping Center from 12:00 to 20:00 on October 2. The public is open to queuing for admission and prior reservation.
