2026-KPSS Undergraduate General Ability-General Culture sessions have started

General Ability-General Culture sessions of the Public Personnel Selection Examination (2026-KPSS) License Exam organized by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) have started.

Candidates came to schools in Istanbul from the morning hours to attend the first of the 2026-KPSS undergraduate sessions. The candidates, who completed their final exams here, said goodbye to their families and friends and went to the halls.

The school doors were closed at 10.00 for the exam, which started at 10.15. Families shared the excitement of their relatives, prayed and supported them.

Murat Ersoy said that he is a mechanical engineer graduate, works in the private sector and has been preparing for the exam for about a year.

Ersoy said, "I have a 1.5-year-old son, I couldn't pay much attention while dealing with him, but I tried to work after work. The process was not difficult, I worked in a planned manner. I did my best. I hope to get a good score and be appointed to a good institution." he said.

Büşra Tarhan, who will take the KPSS exam at Maçka Pakmaya Hüsamettin Ziler Secondary School in Şişli, said, "I worked day and night for the last 4 months because I heard that there would be a lot of recruitment this year. I worked day and night with two children. Thank you, my wife also helped me a lot with other jobs. I am very excited. I graduated in 2015, I got married, had a child, I am a history teacher. I worked in a few places, now when there is such an opportunity, it would be ridiculous to take advantage of it. I believe I can make 85." he said.

Candidates left their belongings, which were announced not to be taken to the exam, to their families and safe deposit points. The doors were closed after the entrance time ended.

At Beylikdüzü Governor Muammer Güler Social Sciences High School, some candidates ran in at the last minute, and some candidates who could not make it to the closing time were not taken to the exam.

Some parents and candidate relatives were sitting on stools around the school, while others were waiting excitedly for their relatives in their vehicles.
