Harmonization week arrangement by the Ministry of National Education

The Ministry of National Education made comprehensive changes to the school regulations before the 2026-2027 academic year.

The regulation, which came into force after being published in the Official Gazette, changed from bag searches to absenteeism requirements; It included many innovations, from discipline and registration rules to meetings with parents. One of those regulations is related to the orientation weeks for students who will start pre-school and first grade. In order to strengthen school-family cooperation, parents will be actively involved in the process during the orientation week organized before the start of the academic year for students who will start pre-school and first grade.

In this context, special programs will be prepared for parents. The aim of the programs is to enable families to contribute more consciously to their children's adaptation to school and to strengthen the communication between the school and the family.
