The Government of the Russian Federation has submitted to the State Duma a draft federal budget for 2027 and the planning period of 2028 and 2029.

When considering the draft budget, the State Duma will assess its compliance with the three priorities outlined by Russian President Vladimir Putin: ensuring social guarantees, financing the defense and defense of the country, as well as financing national projects.

On October 12, a meeting of the budget committee will take place, where consideration of the budget on its merits will begin.

When considering the draft federal budget for the next three years, the State Duma will evaluate its compliance with the priorities outlined by Russian President Vladimir Putin, State Duma deputy Anatoly Lokot (Communist Party of the Russian Federation) told RIA Novosti.

The Russian government on Wednesday submitted to the State Duma a draft federal budget for 2027 and the planning period of 2028 and 2029 and a package of documents for it.

“At the first meeting of the State Duma, the president in his speech outlined three priorities that should be paid attention to when determining our plans and, in particular, when considering the budget for the next three years. The first, very important priority: all social guarantees previously provided for by Russian legislation must be financially secured and preserved,” Lokot said.

According to him, the second priority concerns the defense and defense of Russia - funding for the army, the Ministry of Defense and the military-industrial complex must be provided in the required amount.

“The third priority is extremely important for the territories, in particular for the Novosibirsk region and Kuzbass: all national projects launched earlier must be financed. The Communist Party of the Russian Federation pays attention to how much the presented budget will provide for the real sector of the economy, since the task of import substitution must be implemented in practice,” he added.

The parliamentarian recalled that the leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov, at a meeting with the head of state and the leaders of parliamentary parties, outlined important tasks that were publicly supported - to ensure government purchases of grain and thereby support the agricultural sector.
