Registration for the 2027 Beijing College Entrance Examination starts on the 25th

Today, the Beijing Education Examination Authority issued the "Notice on Carrying out the Enrollment and Registration Work for Beijing's 2027 General Colleges and Universities", clarifying that the 2027 general college and university admissions and registration work in Beijing will begin on October 25, 2026.

Registration includes three stages: online submission of application, online filling in of personal information and payment, and on-site confirmation of registration qualifications.

Stage 1: Submit registration application online

Time: 9:00 on October 25, 2026 to 17:00 on the 28th (the time for children of migrant workers to submit application materials to the registration unit is from 9:00 on October 9 to 17:00 on the 10th)

At this stage, candidates must submit basic personal information such as name, ID number, and select a registration unit. Candidates' subsequent registration qualification confirmation, physical examination and other related matters will be organized and implemented by the registration unit. In principle, the registration unit for the city's current candidates is the school where the student registration is located. The registration unit for previous candidates and fresh candidates studying outside Beijing is the district's higher education office or the street where their household registration is located (specifically determined by the district's higher education office).

Stage 2: Fill in personal information online and pay fees

Time: 9:00 on November 1, 2026 to 17:00 on November 4, 2026

At this stage, candidates who have passed the preliminary review of registration qualifications will select examination subjects (projects), fill in specific information such as personal resumes, and pay fees.

The third stage: on-site confirmation of registration qualifications

The on-site confirmation of registration qualifications is the responsibility of the registration unit, which mainly verifies the identity of the candidates and the registration information submitted online, and collects electronic photos of the candidates on-site. The deadline for this work is November 11, 2026, and the specific time and location will be determined by the applicant.

Candidates who have completed the online personal information and paid the fee must go through the registration qualification confirmation procedures at the specified time and place with their resident household register and ID card (previous candidates must also hold a high school graduation certificate, fresh candidates studying outside Beijing must also hold a certificate issued by the school and ideological and moral assessment opinions, and current employees must hold a letter of introduction from the unit).

Only after candidates have completed the above three stages and passed the on-site confirmation of registration qualifications can they participate in the 2027 Beijing General College Admissions Examination. After the registration process is completed, if the candidate changes due to objective factors such as moving to Beijing due to household registration, and has met the registration conditions for the college entrance examination in Beijing, and if the relevant examination arrangements permit, he or she can submit a supplementary registration application to the registration unit or the district's Higher Education Admissions Office in accordance with the procedures.

Candidate registration information is an important part of the candidate's electronic file and is used for college admissions and student status registration after admission. Candidates must ensure that their college entrance examination registration information is accurate. In order to ensure that candidates can successfully participate in the college entrance examination, admission and college student registration, candidates should not change their names, ID numbers and other information after confirming the college entrance examination registration information and before registering for new students. If there are special circumstances that require changes, candidates should report to the registration unit in a timely manner. The candidates themselves shall be responsible for any remaining problems caused by the candidates' failure to report changes in information in a timely manner.
