Attention 2027 postgraduate candidates, online pre-registration starts today

The registration period for the 2027 National Master’s Degree Admissions Examination is from October 15th to 24th this year. The initial test will be from December 19th to 20th. In order to familiarize candidates with the registration process in advance, online pre-registration will start today (9th).

The pre-registration period for the 2027 National Master’s Degree Admissions Examination is from October 9 to October 12, 2026. In order to improve the application experience of candidates, the "China Graduate Admissions Information Network" has further upgraded the registration system, and the registration process and photo collection mode have been further optimized.

In the past, registration for the postgraduate examination included two stages: online registration and online confirmation. Candidates were required to log in to the postgraduate recruitment website to fill in their application and submit verification materials at the two stages. Starting from the 2027 postgraduate examination, the postgraduate entrance examination website will implement the integration of online registration and online confirmation. After candidates fill in their personal information and application wishes during the online registration period, they can also submit the verification materials required by the application site. This adjustment not only shortens the registration cycle, but also creates more time for subsequent examination organization work.

After the registration is completed, each registration center will review the candidates' registration information and materials to determine the candidates' qualifications for the examination. For candidates whose materials do not meet the requirements and other special circumstances, the application center will remind candidates to submit supplementary materials in time through relevant notices and messages on the research and recruitment website. Candidates can complete the registration after supplementing the materials as required.

In the past, candidates had to upload their own photos, which not only may increase the financial cost of the candidates, but also may affect the identity verification of the exam and subsequent admissions due to excessive beautification of the photos uploaded by the candidates.
