When planning your vacation budget, you need to take into account not only the cost of the tour, but also additional expenses: medical insurance, transfers, excursions, shopping and expenses outside the hotel.

ANKARA, September 12 - RIA Novosti. Russians planning a holiday in Turkey next summer need to be prepared to spend from 300 to 400 thousand rubles for two, travel agent from Ankara Aishenur Oztekin told RIA Novosti.

Current listings for summer 2027 show a wide range of prices. For example, tours to Antalya for two with ultra all inclusive are now offered for approximately 260-325 thousand rubles, while more expensive five-star options can cost 500-750 thousand rubles and more.

“If a Russian family wants to calmly prepare for a summer holiday in Turkey and not look for money for a trip at the last minute, I advise you to start saving now at least 30-35 thousand rubles a month. In a few months, this amount will allow you to collect 300-400 thousand rubles and choose a good option,” Oztekin said.

According to her, the final cost of the trip will depend primarily on the number of tourists, duration of vacation, hotel category and the chosen food system. Families with children, as well as those who prefer five-star hotels with all inclusive, need to set a higher budget.

Oztekin noted that early planning allows tourists not only to evenly distribute expenses, but also to choose from a larger number of hotels. According to her, saving money in advance is especially important for those who want to travel in July or August - traditionally the most popular months of the summer season.

“I would not recommend waiting until May or June if the family already knows that they want to spend a vacation in Turkey. The closer the high season is, the more important the budget issue becomes. It is better to have the accumulated amount in advance and keep an eye on offers than to choose from what is left at the last moment,” explained the travel agent.

She added that when planning a budget, it is necessary to take into account not only the cost of the tour itself. Additional costs may include medical insurance, transfers, excursions, shopping and off-site expenses.

“Even if a tourist takes all inclusive, I recommend leaving a separate reserve for additional expenses. This is money for excursions, trips, shopping, communications or unforeseen situations. You should not expect that the entire amount of the vacation will end up paying for the trip,” Oztekin emphasized.

According to her, Russian tourists should also decide in advance on the duration of their vacation. With the same hotel, the difference between a week and ten to fourteen days can significantly change the overall travel budget.

“If a family is counting on ten days or two weeks, 300-400 thousand rubles may not be enough for a good five-star hotel with full all inclusive. In this case, I would recommend increasing your monthly savings and aiming for 40-50 thousand rubles,” said the agency’s interlocutor.

Oztekin believes that the most comfortable strategy is to determine the desired travel budget, divide it by the number of months before the vacation and regularly save the resulting amount.
