The Russian compiled an anti-rating of countries by the number of thefts and described one European country with the words “the absolute risk leader.” He shared his observations with the “Fly Ourselves” blog on the “Zen” platform.

France was in second place in the anti-rating of popular tourist countries. “Paris is officially recognized as the city that accounts for more than 16 percent of all global complaints about theft at tourist sites,” the author explained, noting that frequent thefts occur at observation decks at the Eiffel Tower, in the metro and in the Louvre.

The list of countries with the highest risk of being robbed also included Spain, Germany and the Netherlands. And Türkiye turned out to be the safest country for holidays. “Contrary to stereotypes, in the province of Mugla (Fethiye, Marmaris, Bodrum) the percentage of complaints about theft is a paltry 0.1 percent. At all-inclusive resorts, security is monitored very strictly,” the blogger stated.

Also the safest countries are China, Poland and Ireland.
