The Irkutsk Aircraft Plant will begin installing the interior of serial MC-21 aircraft in 2027.

MS-21 is a medium-range narrow-body aircraft of the Yakovlev corporation, accommodating from 163 to 211 passengers.

IRKUTSK, September 28 – RIA Novosti. The Irkutsk Aviation Plant (a branch of PJSC Yakovlev, part of the United Aircraft Corporation Rostec) will begin installing the interior of serial MS-21 aircraft in 2027, said Andrey Soynov, general director of the plant.

“Next year,” Soynov answered the question about the timing of the start of installation of interiors in serial MS-21s.

MS-21 is a medium-range narrow-body aircraft developed by the Yakovlev Corporation (part of UAC Rostec). The capacity of the new generation aircraft ranges from 163 to 211 passengers.
