[Reporter Lu Yangxuan/Taipei Report] The Football Association of the Republic of China held the 14th First Extraordinary General Meeting today to conduct the election of chairman, vice chairman and directors and supervisors. Yao Rengong defeated the current chairman Zhang Can and was elected as the new chairman. Yao Rengong said that next week he will actively carry out business handover, meet with department heads and work teams, prioritize the preparation needs of the women's football team, and clarify the current financial and business status of the association as a basis for subsequent decisions and resource allocation.

Yao Rengong has been involved in architectural lighting design for a long time. He is currently the chief designer of Dagong Lighting Design Consulting Firm. He has been recognized by international lighting design awards. In the field of football, he has invested in the Sansan Football Charity Trust Fund since 2014 to support rural school football teams and elite players overseas training. He also served as the president of the Taipei Peacock Football Club.

Regarding the women's football team's upcoming training camp, overseas preparations and competitions, Yao Rengong said that he has exchanged opinions with the coach Zhuang He and will further confirm the team's existing resources, subsidy status and unsupported projects, understand the matters that need priority coordination, and assist the team in preparing for the game. Preparation, "They are about to leave, train soon, and compete soon. If there is anything missing, I must know this first." Yao Rengong said that for the preparations that are already underway, he will first understand the actual needs and support progress, and then coordinate related resources.

In terms of finance, Yao Rengong said that he will review the accounting and contract information item by item for Bose Digital Channel broadcasting fees, venue fees and other payables, clarify the amounts, causes and responsibilities of the association, and then discuss how to deal with them. He emphasized that the association's funds involve subsidies and fundraising, and it is necessary to ensure that the purpose of the funds is clear and that the expenditures are well-founded so that resources can be properly used.

In terms of administrative and personnel arrangements, Yao Rengong pointed out that he will first understand the work content, implementation progress and front-line needs of each department, and then evaluate the work process and manpower allocation. He said that the key to improving efficiency lies in working methods and attitudes. Practical operations must be mastered before subsequent decisions can be accurately implemented. As for the candidate for the secretary-general, it has not yet been finalized.

Regarding the association's turnover needs, Yao Rengong said that it is still necessary to first grasp the account and overall financial status before confirming the actual amount required and feasible scheduling methods. Subsequent steps will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis based on the verification results. Yao Rengong said that he hopes to combine the accumulated experience of all parties, pool resources, and gather cooperative efforts, starting from specific tasks such as representative team support, financial clarification, and administrative efficiency, to gradually establish a professional and solid foundation for the development of Taiwanese football.
