Since the beginning of spring, 22 people have died as a result of bear attacks in Russian regions.

At least 22 residents of Russian regions have been victims of attacks by brown bears since the spring.

Two deaths each were recorded in Buryatia and Kamchatka, another one each in the Khabarovsk Territory, the Vologda Region and Tuva; in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, seven people died, in the Irkutsk region - three people, in the Tomsk region - three people, in the Altai Republic - one person.

MOSCOW, September 29 – RIA Novosti. At least 22 residents of Russian regions have been victims of attacks by brown bears since the spring, according to data available to RIA Novosti.

Previously, 21 deaths were reported. Two deaths each were recorded in Buryatia and Kamchatka, another one each in the Khabarovsk Territory, the Vologda Region and Tuva. Seven people died in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, three people in the Irkutsk Region, three people in the Tomsk Region, and one person in the Altai Republic.
