A large fire in an administrative building has been localized in Tomsk

The fire in a two-story administrative building in Tomsk was localized to an area of ​​1.6 thousand square meters, there were no casualties, RIA Novosti was told by the Main Emergency Situations Directorate for the Tomsk Region.

Earlier, the department reported that a two-story brick administrative building and an extension at the address: Nakhimova Street, 8/1 caught fire. According to open data, the administrative building houses the offices of various companies. Nearby there is a large shopping and entertainment center.

“According to preliminary data, open burning was localized to an area of ​​1,600 square meters. The fire was not allowed to spread to neighboring buildings. There were no casualties,” a department representative told the agency.
