Li Sichuan’s trip to Zhonghe District, mentioning the north-south extension of the MRT and political views in the city

Li Sichuan, the New Taipei City mayoral candidate of the Kuomintang, attended three local events today (22nd), including the Zhonghe District Zhongzheng Community Development Association of New Taipei City, the Zhonghe District Zhang Liaojian Clan Association, and the Zhonghe District Veterans Association membership meeting. In his speech, he focused on the two key political views of Zhonghe, and fully promoted the "North-South Extension of the Zhonghe Guangfu Line" that connects the core hubs of the two norths, and implemented the "Du Geng 5 Power" to accelerate the renovation of old communities.

At an event of the Zhongzheng Community Development Association, Chairman Li Yinhua publicly called on the villagers to fully support Li Sichuan's election with a high vote. There were even supporters at the scene who clasped Li Sichuan's hands in praise. Li Sichuan then went to the Zhang, Liao and Jian Clan Association. Chairman Zhang Changwu led all the clan members on the stage to shout "Li Sichuan frozen garlic". There was a long line of people in the audience to take photos with Li Sichuan.

At the Veterans Association membership meeting, Chairman Yang Zonghan said in his speech that neutralization is not easy, and he firmly believes that Li Sichuan's courage in engineering can accelerate urban renewal and improve people's local safety. Some people enthusiastically sent candied fruits and peanuts, symbolizing that although the election was bitter and sweet, they believed that "good things will happen" to Li Sichuan when he is elected at the end of the year. New Taipei City Councilors Chen Jinding, Qiu Fengyao, You Huishan, People's Party parliamentary candidate Chen Yijun and many local mayors were also present to participate in the grand event.

Regarding the improvement of transportation in Zhonghe, Li Sichuan said that as mayor, he will implement the "Rail Construction 123" policy and fully promote the north-south extension of the MRT Zhonghe Guangfu Line, connecting Zhongyonghe in the north to the Arena and Songshan Airport, and in the south to Xindian Shijiang; he revealed that through During his tenure at the Taipei City Government, he reached a high degree of consensus with Taipei Mayor Chiang Wanan. In the future cooperation between the two cities, the Zhonghe-Guangfu Line will be prioritized as a major rail project to comprehensively improve the cross-district commuting efficiency of Shuanghe residents and upgrade the living functions of local residents.
