Putin congratulated Rossiya 24 on its 20th anniversary

Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated the staff of the Rossiya 24 TV channel on its 20th anniversary, noting its role in ensuring a unified information space in the country.

“I congratulate you on the 20th anniversary of the Rossiya 24 TV channel... I would especially note the significant, sought-after role of the TV channel in providing a unified information space, in organizing the effective activities of regional state television and radio companies,” reads the text of the telegram published on the Kremlin website.

The head of state expressed confidence that the channel will continue to contribute to the development of Russian television journalism thanks to the professionalism, cohesion and dedication of the creative team.

The President emphasized that Russia 24 is developing confidently, mastering new broadcasting formats, maintaining a high level of quality work, being an authoritative source of information about key events in the country and the world.
