A six-year-old boy fell from a slide in an amusement park at a shopping center in Ivanovo.

The child died in the hospital from his injuries; the regional Investigative Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee opened a criminal case.

BRYANSK, September 11 – RIA Novosti. A six-year-old boy died in hospital after falling from a slide in a shopping center in the city of Ivanovo; a criminal case has been opened, reports the regional Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

“Investigators have opened a criminal case into the death of a minor child as a result of a fall from an attraction... On the afternoon of September 10... a six-year-old boy... in an amusement park in one of the shopping centers... climbed... along the facade of one of the slides. The child fell and fell from a height,” the department said in a statement on the Max platform.

It is noted that the boy was hospitalized, but despite the medical assistance provided, he died from his injuries.

The prosecutor's office of the Ivanovo region said that they took control of the progress and results of the investigation of the criminal case.
