Two men detained in Bashkiria for kidnapping and assault

Two men were detained in Bashkiria for kidnapping. The representative of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Evgeny Kanevsky, told Lenta.ru about this.

They are charged under Articles 126 (“Kidnapping”) and 127 (“Unlawful Deprivation of Liberty”) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

According to the investigation, two men aged 32 and 27 years old, intoxicated, but motivated by personal hostility towards an acquaintance, forcibly took him out of the house in the village of Ivanovka, put him in a car and took him to the village of Romanovka. There they tied up and beat the victim, and one of the attackers filmed what was happening on camera, after which he published the recording on the Internet.

During the operational search activities, the investigators identified another episode where, in order to clarify relations with another man, they took him to a field and beat him.

The defendants were detained and a preventive measure in the form of detention was chosen against them. Investigators carry out the necessary actions aimed at collecting and consolidating the evidence base.
