Cadres of farmers' associations in 26 townships and cities in Changhua County supported Chen Suyue, and Lai Qingde attended the flag presentation by the Agricultural Support Association.

Today (27th), the three giants of farmers' associations and important cadres of agricultural groups in 26 townships and cities in Changhua County all stood up to support Chen Suyue, the Democratic Progressive Party's candidate for Changhua County Mayor. President Lai Qingde also went to Lugang Town, Changhua County to present the flag to Chen Suyue's Agricultural Support Association at the founding ceremony. Lin Kunhong, president of the support association, said that the current county magistrate Wang Huimei is from Lugang. Starting from Lugang, representative Chen Suyue is ready to take over!

The founding meeting of the Chen Suyue Agricultural Support Association was held today at Lukang Asia Pacific Resort Center. There were more than 2,000 farmers from 26 towns and cities present. The president of the association, Lin Kunhong, is the director general of the Fuxing Township Farmers Association, and the executive director Chen Yingsheng is the director general of the Beidou Town Farmers Association. In addition to Lai Qingde, who presented the flag and delivered a speech, Agriculture Minister Chen Junji, legislators Huang Xiufang and Chen Xiubao were also present to support the event.

Chen Suyue said that after she was elected, the deductible for farmers’ occupational disaster insurance would be fully subsidized by the county government, so that every farmer would have occupational disaster insurance. She would also set up a Changhua Agricultural Products Marketing Company to bring the “Changhua Premium Fresh” brand to the international stage. In the future, she will establish a Central Taiwan Smart Agricultural Science Park, build a smart cold chain logistics center for agricultural products, increase public grain freight subsidies to 1 yuan per kilogram, and implement smart animal husbandry and agricultural and animal husbandry circular economy.

She also made three major commitments to the farmers' association, namely "supply and marketing support equipment", through which the county government will seek central project subsidies for old barns and dryers; "credit support lending", which means increasing agricultural loan interest subsidies and strengthening credit insurance cooperation; and the last point is "promoting support for grassroots". By formulating stable promotion cooperation funds, the administrative verification process will be simplified and the trouble of grassroots advances will be eliminated.

Lai Qingde emphasized that Chen Suyue is a daughter of the countryside. Her parents gave birth to 7 girls and 1 boy. She is the sixth eldest child in the family, and she has younger brothers and sisters. She comes from the countryside and knows the hardships of farmers best. The county government must pay all farmers' deductibles for occupational disasters, so that the central and local governments can be connected. The central government and the Ministry of Agriculture will be Chen Suyue's strongest backers.
