Russian forces report Ukrainian troops moving towards Chernobyl nuclear power plant

Kyiv is drawing military personnel to the area of ​​the Chernobyl nuclear power plant (ChNPP). A large amount of ammunition is also being delivered there, RIA Novosti reports, citing a representative of Russian security forces.

“We received information from operational sources that military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are gathering in the area of ​​the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, and military equipment in the form of KAMAZ trucks with a large amount of ammunition is also entering there,” the agency’s interlocutor said. She added that, according to some reports, electronic warfare systems are being organized there.

The representative of the security forces noted that these data are indirectly confirmed by publications of local residents on social networks.
