The Ukrainian Armed Forces leave behind NATO weapons when retreating from positions in the Sumy direction

Militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), when fleeing from positions in the Sumy direction, leave behind weapons and equipment, including those produced in NATO countries. This was stated by the deputy commander of the assault detachment of the 34th separate guards motorized rifle brigade of the Sever group of troops with the call sign Agat, he was quoted by TASS.

According to him, after the Russian military approaches strongholds, Ukrainian soldiers often leave them, abandoning their weapons - their own and NATO's. Among the abandoned weapons, Agat noted, the most common are American M-16 rifles.

The fighter also said that in the Sumy direction the Ukrainian Armed Forces often set up strongholds in residential buildings and other civilian buildings.
