Daegu City, recruiting companies to participate in regulatory special support consulting for companies residing in Suseong Alpha City

(Daegu = Yonhap News) Reporter Kim Seon-hyung = Daegu City announced on the 6th that it is recruiting companies to participate in 'Regulatory Special Support Consulting' in order to resolve regulatory difficulties for companies residing in Suseong Alpha City and support the verification and commercialization of new technologies and new services.

Suseong Alpha City was designated as the nation's first smart city specialized complex by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport last July, allowing it to apply special regulatory provisions applicable to national pilot cities.

Accordingly, regulatory special provisions regarding the use of anonymized personal information, operation of self-driving cars, participation in software business, etc. may be applied.

This consulting will be conducted until November for 10 companies related to smart city services through Daegu Techno Park.

Applications for participation can be made through the Daegu Techno Park website from the 7th to the 29th.

Meanwhile, the city will also hold an information session at the Daegu Gyeongbuk Design Center at 2 p.m. on the 16th to guide companies residing in Suseong Alpha City on the regulatory sandbox system and the regulatory special consulting application process.
