An avalanche threat has been declared. In total, 30 Russians were stuck on the mountain. It is known that among the tourists there is an organized group of 17 people, which includes famous Russian climbers. They have already begun their descent. What makes it more difficult is that many of the safety ropes were under the snow.

It is reported that the region may receive another two to three meters of snow from September 24 due to the cyclone from the Bay of Bengal. In addition, four people have not survived on Manaslu since the beginning of the season: two were covered by an avalanche, another climber did not survive the descent, and another suffocated in a tent from the exhaust gases of a generator.
