Belousov instructed to prepare Russian Armed Forces facilities for the winter period

Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov instructed to ensure high-quality and timely preparation of Russian Armed Forces facilities for the winter period, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.

Belousov held a conference call on the preparation of Russian Armed Forces facilities for the 2026/2027 heating season.

“Andrei Belousov instructed to ensure high-quality and timely preparation for the winter period, to take control of objects that require special attention,” the Russian Ministry of Defense said.

According to the military department, the Minister of Defense drew special attention to the need to constantly maintain reserves of fuel for boiler houses, materials and equipment to promptly eliminate technological violations.

In addition, during the meeting, issues of funds’ readiness for the winter period were discussed.

“Namely: completion of repair work, creation of fuel reserves, staffing, technical and emergency teams,” the message says.
