The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked Sevastopol using a UAV: a kindergarten and a bus were damaged

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attacked Sevastopol using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). A total of 18 drones were shot down over the region, Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev said.

As a result of the attack, the “Mayak Detstva” kindergarten, which is part of the “Kazachya Bay” educational center, was damaged. A local roof fire occurred at the facility. The fire was quickly contained and there were no casualties.

Razvozhaev addressed the parents of kindergarten students

The head of Sevastopol initially called on parents not to go to the attacked kindergarten in search of their children until the air raid was over. He emphasized that at the time of the impact all the students were in shelter and there was nothing to worry about.

At the moment, preschoolers are under the supervision of teachers in the elementary school building on Kazachya Street, 11 B, from where their relatives can safely pick them up.

In the damaged kindergarten, the special services are taking all necessary measures. According to footage released by authorities taken after the fire was extinguished, the fire damaged the roof of the building. The photographs also showed debris, the identity of which could not be accurately determined.

A bus was damaged by drone fragments

In addition, at the final stop in the village of Holland, fragments of a downed drone damaged the roof and two windows of bus route No. 46. No one was injured as a result of the attack.
