The State Duma explained the Ukrainian Armed Forces' strikes on the oil refinery as an attempt to cause discontent among Russians

By striking oil refineries, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to cause discontent among the Russian population, but they will not succeed, said Andrei Kolesnik, a member of the State Duma Defense Committee. Thus, in a conversation with Lenta.ru, he commented on the enemy attack on the Yaroslavl region.

Earlier it became known that Ukraine hit oil refineries in the region. As a result, a fire occurred. The governor of the Yaroslavl region, Mikhail Evraev, said that falling debris from the drone also broke windows in several apartment buildings and damaged cars.

“They are trying to strike at infrastructure facilities that could harm the country’s population in order to shake up society and cause dissatisfaction with the lack of gasoline. We have enough gasoline and fuel for everyone. And in response they will receive heavy blows to logistics facilities, and these blows are already being delivered today. The Black Sea will be practically closed for any logistical activities, import and export of weapons. These are the Black Sea ports: Odessa, Chernomorsk, Yuzhny; Danube ports: Reniy and Izmail,” the deputy said.

The parliamentarian added that, apparently, the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky is not at all interested in his own population. The politician has no other plans other than to “save his skin,” Kolesnik suggested.
