A series of Russian attacks have hit the Ukrainian port city of Odessa, wounding at least two people and causing damage, local media reported.
Fires broke out in several locations, causing thick plumes of smoke to rise over the city.
Odessa Governor Oleh Kiper said via Telegram on Saturday evening that the strikes hit private homes, a production facility and warehouses.
Earlier the same day, the Russian army attacked a tools and equipment store in the coastal city twice.
Ukraine has been confronting a comprehensive Russian invasion for more than four and a half years.
In light of the stalemate that largely dominates the front lines, Russia has intensified its targeting of Ukrainian cities by launching air strikes and using combat drones and ballistic missiles.

On Saturday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stressed at the United Nations that Moscow will achieve its military goals in Ukraine “no matter the circumstances.”

Lavrov also called on the United States to lift the “blockade” imposed on Cuba, as well as restrictions on trade with the largest island in the Caribbean.
Lavrov said that the United States should remove Cuba from the list of states sponsoring terrorism.
The United States launched a pressure campaign on Cuba that largely prevented oil from reaching the island, causing widespread power outages.

The German diplomat said that Vadiful "called on the Russian Federation to abandon its dangerous approach of escalation towards Germany, Europe and NATO."
Vadiful explained, according to what the diplomat was quoted as saying, that “incidents such as the recent attempted attack in Leipzig or other multi-means attacks will not shake Germany’s resolve to support Ukraine, which is under attack.”
Germany is one of Ukraine's most prominent supporters, while Lavrov recently accused it of "wanting war again," rejecting Berlin's accusations that Moscow was responsible for the Leipzig airport attack last month.
