Taiwan weather forecast for the next few days: mainly cloudy to sunny, with scattered showers in mountainous areas in the afternoon

The Central Meteorological Administration pointed out that today (28th) the weather will be cloudy to sunny in various places. There is a chance of sporadic showers in the mountainous areas after noon. The high temperature during the day is about 32 to 35 degrees. The Taipei Basin, Hualien Longitudinal Valley and the central and southern inland areas have local high temperatures of about 36 degrees. At night, the low temperature in early morning is generally 23 to 25 degrees. The ultraviolet rays are relatively strong around noon today and can easily reach excessive or dangerous levels. People should pay attention to sun protection when going out.

As for the weather on the outlying islands, Penghu is sunny and cloudy at 26 to 31 degrees; Kinmen is sunny and cloudy at 26 to 31 degrees; Matsu is sunny and cloudy at 26 to 31 degrees. In terms of air quality, the Gaoping, Yilan, and Huadong areas are rated as "good"; the northern, Zhumiao, central, Yunjia-nan air areas and Penghu are rated as "ordinary"; Matsu and Kinmen are rated as "orange alert".

From Tuesday (29th) to Wednesday (30th), it will be mostly cloudy to sunny everywhere, with scattered brief showers in the mountainous areas in the afternoon. The high temperature in various places is 31 to 35 degrees, and Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu are 30 to 32 degrees; the low temperature is 23 to 27 degrees in various places in Taiwan and Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu.

The northeast monsoon strengthened on Thursday (October 1), with sporadic short-lived showers on the north coast of Keelung and Yilan. Other areas were cloudy to sunny. The rainfall range increased slightly in the afternoon, and there were local short-lived showers in the southern areas and other mountainous areas in the afternoon. The high temperature is 31 to 32 degrees in the northern and eastern half, 33 degrees in the central and southern parts, and 29 to 31 degrees in Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu. In terms of low temperature, the low temperature is 23 to 27 degrees in various parts of Taiwan and Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu.

Affected by the northeast monsoon from Friday (2nd) to next Sunday (4th), there will be some short-lived showers in the north and eastern half of Taoyuan and the Hengchun Peninsula on the windward side. It will be cloudy to sunny in the south of Hsinchu, and there will be some short-lived showers in the southern areas and other mountainous areas in the afternoon. The high temperature in the northern and eastern half, Penghu and Kinmen is 28 to 31 degrees, the central and southern parts are 32 to 33 degrees, and Matsu is 27 to 28 degrees. The low temperature in the north and eastern half of the central part, Kinmen and Matsu is 22 to 25 degrees, and the southern part and Penghu are 26 to 27 degrees.
