[Special Correspondent Wu Mengru/Nagoya Report] Hsieh Su-wei, who returned to the Asian Games after 12 years, teamed up with Liang Enshuo today to defeat Zhan Haoqing/Ng Fangxian 6:4, 4:6, 10:5 in the women's doubles gold medal match of the Nagoya Asian Games, winning the first Asian Games women's doubles gold medal in her career. She also kept praising her partner for being great, and said to Liang Enshuo, "Look for me to match more in the future!"

Hsieh Su-wei won the silver medal in women's doubles at the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games and the 2014 Incheon Asian Games. This time she participated in the Asian Games again and teamed up with Liang Enshuo to win the first gold medal in women's doubles at the Asian Games. She believes that the key lies in the great performance of her teammates. "I let her play by herself. She played very well, and she didn’t need anyone to control her at all, and she performed very well today. She handled many shots very steadily and slickly, so the main contributor to the win was Eun-seok. I was just hanging around in front of the court. Eun-seok hit so many winning shots, and it was all her fault.”

As for partnering with Liang Enshuo in women's doubles, Tse Su-wei said: "Because we have never paired together, then maybe she wants to play with Joanna If (Glen Joanna) plays, then I may have to find someone else, so we have never finalized who we will match with, because we have never matched with each other before. She is a very good player, but it does not mean that the two of you plus one will be greater than two, so when we came up, we tried our best to explore in every game and support each other. This is also a very important reason why we can win the gold medal today. "

Xie Shuwei said that the women's doubles partner of this Asian Games was finalized on the last day. "It was Enshuo who said he wanted to partner with us, and then I said, because I prefer people to come to me to partner, which means they should be very active and want to win."
