"Referees file" investigation in Turkish football: TFF holds an extraordinary meeting

Shaken by the "Referees file" investigation carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Illegal Betting and Sports Crimes Bureau, Turkish football is eagerly awaited as to what path will be followed after the national match break.

5 ARREST ORDER

Judgeship; MHK President Ferhat Gündoğdu, TFF Referees and Observers Association Istanbul Provincial Referee Board President Emre Kosif, TFF Active Referees Association Istanbul Branch President Ferdi Karadoruk, former TFF Central Referee Board Member Yunus Yıldırım and TFF Referees and Observers Association Istanbul Branch Organization Officer Alican Sağlar decided to be arrested. Judicial control measures in the form of "ban on going abroad" and "signature" were imposed on TFF Training and 4th Regional Manager Sebahattin Şahin and former TFF Central Referee Board Deputy Chairman Ahmet Şahin.

PROCEEDINGS ARE CONTINUING

The proceedings against Super League referee Yasin Kol and Super League assistant referee Göktuğ Hazar Erel, who were detained within the scope of the investigation, are continuing at the Istanbul Police Department's Financial Crimes Department.

TFF, chaired by İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu, who has maintained its silence for days, took action after the match against Italy, which will be played in Bologna on Monday, October 5, at 21.45 CET in the UEFA Nations A League 1st Group, where we lost the first 3 matches.

EXTRAORDINARY MEETING DECISION

Journalist Tahir Kum announced in the HT Spor broadcast that he expects TFF President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu to resign and go to an extraordinary general assembly. Kum also announced that the TFF Board of Directors decided to hold an extraordinary meeting in Riva on Tuesday at 15.00.
