The 2026 Ordinary Administrative and Financial General Assembly of Beşiktaş Club has started.
Serdal Adalı, the president of the black-white club, took the podium at the general assembly at the Haliç Congress Center Haliç Block Auditorium and made statements about the agenda.
The highlights of Serdal Adalı's statements, who also evaluated the arrest of MHK President Ferhat Gündoğdu and the detention of referee Yasin Kol, to whom they had a reaction due to the match management in the away game in Alanya, where they lost two points, are as follows:
"WE SEE WHERE AND IN WHAT SITUATION THE THOSE OBSTACLES OUR LEADERSHIP ARE"
Today, we could be standing before you as the board of directors of Beşiktaş, which has taken the leadership seat in the league. Referee mistakes in Alanyaspor and Amed SF matches delayed our leadership for today. We all see together where and in what situation the people whose decisions made us are not leaders today are now. As long as this football, this struggle continues, Beşiktaş will sit in the leadership seat it deserves.
"BEŞİKTAŞ WAS ALWAYS THE TOP CRITICISM OF MHK"
We were the only ones pointing fingers at MHK since the first day we took office. We said the name Ferhat Gündoğdu many times. We said that as long as he is the President of MHK, Turkish football will not make any progress. At the point we have reached today, Beşiktaş is the one that gave the biggest fight to the distorted structure in MHK, criticized them at the highest level and told the truth.
History proved Beşiktaş right once again. "There is finally a sanction for organizing against Beşiktaş, violating Beşiktaş's rights, and trying to stop Beşiktaş."

We did not make any irreversible expenditure on Beşiktaş. We have not, and will not, purchase any football player that we will be the last owner of. Everyone should know this. Our staff structure has reached the level we wanted. We no longer have a player for whom we can pay money and say 'Just go'. Today we have players who can play in the biggest clubs in the world. We will further increase our staff value in a short time. We will be a team that creates its own income by selling the right players at the right time. Beşiktaş will now be managed with a vision unique in Turkey. We brought 82.2 million euros of transfer income to our club in 1.5 years. The players we acquire will enable us to generate much larger transfer income. We broke a record in Turkish history by sending 17 players to the national teams. We started a period in which we will regain our place in world football by beating Marseille, one of the well-established clubs of Europe, with good football.
"WE MADE THE BIGGEST DEBT PAYMENT IN BEŞİKTAŞ'S HISTORY"
We reduced our bank debts to 53 million dollars. We reduced the annual interest from 50 million dollars to 5 million dollars. We made the largest debt payment in Beşiktaş history. Beşiktaş will earn 8.5 billion TL from the Dikilitaş Project. If there is a difference in exchange rates in the future, the figure will increase. We will use some of the revenues to pay bank debts of 53 million euros. Our bank debts will be finished within 5 years. We want to build a new real estate project by purchasing new land with the money coming from Dikilitaş. The money coming from here will be used for staff, infrastructure and facilities. The financial structure will become independent.”
