More than three million people took part in the military-patriotic game “Zarnitsa 2.0” in 2026.

The final battle of the third season of the game took place at the training ground of a military unit in the Volgograd region.

More than 600 of the 900 final participants wanted to become defenders of the Motherland and go to higher military schools.

More than three million people took part in the military-patriotic game "Zarnitsa 2.0" in 2026, and two-thirds of the finalists expressed a desire to connect their lives with military service, said First Deputy Head of the Russian Presidential Administration Sergei Kiriyenko.

On Saturday in the Volgograd region, at the training ground of a military unit, the final battle of the third season of the All-Russian military-patriotic game “Zarnitsa 2.0” took place.

“This year, 3.2 million people took part - at the school level, at the district level. And it’s clear how motivated and bright the guys come here for the finals,” Kiriyenko told reporters.

He noted that Zarnitsa 2.0 became not just a game for the participants, but an event that will forever remain in their memory. Because it was there that the children were able to make every effort to preserve the memory of the heroes who, at the cost of their lives, defended the Stalingrad land during the Great Patriotic War. In addition, Zarnitsa 2.0 allowed participants to master new technical specialties, gain teamwork skills and learn to fight to the end.

“Of the 900 participants in the final, more than 600 decided that in their lives they want to become defenders of the Motherland and go to higher military schools,” Kiriyenko emphasized.
