A fire broke out on Zhongzheng Road in Niaosong District. The fire department dispatched 24 vehicles and 59 people to the rescue. A single-family iron house caught fire at the scene, causing poor air in Fengshan, Niaosong, and Daliao districts, and the air was filled with odor.

The Environmental Protection Agency stated that the current wind direction is northwest, guiding pollutants to the southeast. The current fire alarm system shows that firefighting units have been dispatched, but there is still intermittent smoke flow.

The Environmental Protection Bureau warned that areas affected by air quality include Niaosong District, Fengshan District, and Daliao District. Residents should pay attention to the smell and close doors and windows in a timely manner.

The Environmental Protection Agency reminds the public to stay indoors as much as possible, close doors and windows, and reduce going out. If you need to go out, please wear a mask. The city government will continue to track the latest air quality conditions.
