A 30-meter-tall Mazu stone statue was set up in the Da'an Port Mazu Cultural Park. It was completed on the 3rd. Taichung Mayor Lu Xiuyan revealed the change in the popularity of visitors to the park after the completion of the Mazu statue. She said that the Mazu Park, which originally did not have a Mazu statue, had less than 10 people entering the park during the week. However, after the Mazu statue was installed, the number of people entering the park on weekends increased. The number of visitors to the park increased by more than 3,000, and the Tourism and Tourism Bureau even held the "Taichung Ocean Sightseeing Season" on the first two days off every weekend after its opening. It attracted nearly 60,000 visitors in two days, giving the Daan "Protein District" a tourism opportunity. The Tourism and Tourism Bureau was asked to speed up the production of Da'an food maps and attraction introductions to allow more people to travel in Da'an District.

Da'an Mazu Park only has a white dolphin pedestal, but no Mazu statue. The name does not live up to the name. Tourists do not come, which is a disappointment to the place. Lu Xiuyan said that local fishermen have expressed uneasiness for many years. When she ran for mayor, she promised to do it if she was elected mayor. It took eight years to erect Mazu and finally fulfilled the promise. The statue is 30 meters high and combined with a 23.6-meter white dolphin base.
