The Fire God Festival and the Ronin Festival cross borders for the first time. Yuguang Island listens to the group during the day and watches the fire dance at night. The international cast performs for 3 days.

The "2026 International Fire Dance Art Festival - Fire God Festival" will be held on Yuguang Island in Anping, Tainan for three consecutive days starting from the 24th. For the first time this year, it will be combined with the Ronin Festival, bringing together fire dance artists from the United States, Italy, Hungary, Japan and other countries, as well as Taiwanese performers Yang Liwei who appeared on "Britain's Got Talent", and Asian Games Tai Chi silver medalist Sun Jiahong, intertwining flames, music and coastal landscapes into a cross-border event for the holidays.

Mayor Huang Weizhe attended the opening in the evening and invited people across the country to come to Tainan during the consecutive holidays to experience the art of fire dance and the unique charm of Yuguang Island. He said that this year's event is cooperating with the Ronin Festival for the first time, creating a diversified experience with "the Ronin Festival during the day and the Fire God Festival at night" so that young music fans and families can find favorite programs.

This year's performance lineup includes Asian Games Tai Chi all-around silver medalist Sun Jiahong, foot dancer Yang Liwei, who has been recognized by the golden button of "Britain's Got Talent", Firechill who appeared on "America's Got Talent", as well as the Japanese fire dance team "Rai Guang Yan Wu かぐづち", the multinational group Attila Oltyan & Erin Oltyan, and the international fire knife artist Justyce Levi Uepa, etc., present a diverse visual feast through martial arts, stunts and fire art. Japanese senior curator Akira Koga Masaaki will also share and exchange long-term development experience in urban space and art festivals on the 25th.

Music and fire also perform across borders. Mango Jump joins forces with the soon-to-be real fire dance troupe, Cicada collaborates with international fire dance artists to present "World Star", and Skaraoke joins the "Sunset Parade" with Ska music, allowing the music beats and fire dance performances to echo each other.

In addition to the main stage on the beach, there is also a second stage "Awakening Stage" in the forest area, allowing the audience to enjoy the fire dance up close; the "Trial Area" arranges workshops such as alcohol yoga, floating sticks, martial arts, hula hoops and Tai Chi; and the "Forest Gathering Area" has balloons, jugglers and street performers, and provides fire dance props and martial arts teaching experience. In the evening, there will also be relay performances by Mandala Band and Liu Jiaying Joy who will appear on stage as DJ ÈJO.

In addition, coinciding with the 150th anniversary of the founding of Yizai Jincheng, the Come True Fire Dance Troupe will perform at Yizai Jincheng for three consecutive afternoons, bringing contemporary art into the historical scene. Although the impact of Typhoon Qiangbi on Tainan was minor, the city government still carefully assessed the weather and confirmed that the event will be held as scheduled, and invited the public to participate during the consecutive holidays.
