The heads of Russian regions refused the mandates of the State Duma

MOSCOW, September 29 - RIA Novosti. Forty-nine heads of Russian regions refused the mandates of deputies of the State Duma of the ninth convocation, according to data from the Central Election Commission of Russia, which was analyzed by RIA Novosti.

Members of the Central Election Commission at a meeting on Tuesday adopted a resolution on the transfer of vacant mandates of deputies of the State Duma of the ninth convocation to registered candidates from the federal list of United Russia.

In total, the list of registered candidates for deputies of the State Duma of the ninth convocation, elected as part of the federal list of candidates from the United Russia party, whose deputy mandates are considered vacant, includes 47 heads of regions.

Among them are Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region Denis Pasler, Governor of the Orenburg Region Evgeny Solntsev, Head of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Gleb Nikitin, Governor of the Kaluga Region Vladislav Shapsha, Governor of the Belgorod Region Alexander Shuvaev, Governor of the Kursk Region Alexander Khinshtein.

Earlier, the head of Khakassia Valentin Konovalov and the governor of the Oryol region Andrei Klychkov refused the mandates of deputies of the State Duma of the ninth convocation from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation.

Thus, 49 heads of constituent entities of the Russian Federation refused their parliamentary mandates.
