Hsinchu City Government adjusts vision exhibition schedule and apologizes

The Hsinchu City Government has adjusted the exhibition period of the "2026 Hsinchu City Vision Exhibition" and emphasized that the City Vision Exhibition was originally planned to be held at the Hsinchu City Cultural and Creative Center. After previous coordination with the city government, Kangbo Company agreed to provide a venue for the city to organize the exhibition before the Cultural and Creative Center completed renovations and attracted investment. The city government expressed its gratitude to Kangbo Company for its assistance.

However, as the launch date approaches, the city government continues to review the handling of fire protection, barrier-free, waste separation and other related procedures. On September 24, the city's Urban Development Office confirmed that it is difficult to complete the necessary subsequent exhibition venue preparations, equipment testing and safety confirmation operations as originally scheduled. The city government immediately conducted an overall assessment and officially made a decision to adjust the exhibition period on September 25. At present, the relevant legal procedures for the cultural and creative museum are still being processed, and the use license has not yet been obtained. Considering that the City Vision Exhibition is a large-scale public exhibition open to the public, the city government must put the safety of visitors and staff first.

The city government emphasized that even though various curation and publicity work has been carried out one after another, it still decided to responsibly adjust the exhibition period, rather than rashly launching it before the legal and safe use conditions of the venue are complete.

The exhibition will be adjusted to December 5th to December 20th. During this period, the city government team will continue to complete exhibition preparation, equipment testing and various safety confirmations to ensure that the exhibition is in a more complete and safe state.
