Zhuang Jieren said that he is the initiator of the campaign to save the Qiaotou Sugar Factory's 100 hectares of forest. Zhuang Jieren believes that all efforts to protect the forest will run the risk of being attacked by public opinion or cyber forces as "a force for unionism and anti-DPP", and that the pure forest protection movement, which transcends party affiliation and stands independently of unity, is at risk of being misunderstood. So he immediately told the organizer that he would not attend on 11/8.
