Scientists have found traces of strong muscle stress on the bones of Dmitry Donskoy

The bones of the shoulder girdle of Grand Duke Dmitry Donskoy retained traces of strong muscle loads, which indicate that the prince was a warrior, Nikolai Makarov, Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, acting director of the Institute of Archeology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

“There are traces of strong muscle stress on the bones of the shoulder girdle, which indicate that the prince is a warrior, a person who is associated with military affairs... Indeed, this is a man who was somewhere in the thick of military affairs - his bones speak eloquently about this,” Makarov said.
