Man sentenced to 4 months in prison and 1 year of probation for assault in Busan club locker room

A man who assaulted and seriously injured a man several times during an argument in the locker room of a club in Busan was sentenced to probation.

Judge Ki-seok Jang of the Busan District Court's Criminal Division 7 announced on the 13th that he sentenced Mr. A, who was indicted on charges of causing injury, to four months in prison and one year of probation.

Mr. A was handed over to trial on charges of pushing Mr. B against the wall during an argument in the locker room of a club in Busanjin-gu, Busan at 5:24 am on June 2 last year, and hitting him in the face with his elbow and fist several times.

It was found that the argument began when Mr. B was talking to Mr. A's group, touching his shoulder and grabbing Mr. A's wrist.

Mr. B suffered injuries that required more than six months of treatment, including a fractured nose bone, due to the assault.

Judge Jang explained the reason for sentencing, saying, "The fact that the victim's injuries were serious and that Mr.
