Korea Inclusive Finance Agency and Woori Card sign an agreement to launch ‘Woori Hope Card’ in the fourth quarter

‘Our Hope Card’ scheduled to be released in the 4th quarter

(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Kang Ryu-na = The Korea Inclusive Finance Agency and Woori Card announced on the 6th that they signed a business agreement to expand complex support to those in financial crisis.

This agreement is a follow-up measure to the 'Suicide Prevention Measures for Persons in Economic Crisis' jointly promoted by related organizations such as the Financial Services Commission, and was prepared to proactively identify vulnerable groups experiencing economic difficulties and provide specialized financial products.

According to the agreement, the two companies plan to launch 'Our Hope Card (tentative name)', a card exclusively for complex support, in the fourth quarter.

This card has a higher credit score than the existing Sunshine Loan card issuance target (bottom 20% credit score, disposable income of 60 million won or less), but is aimed at vulnerable groups who have difficulty issuing regular cards.

Its characteristic feature is that it connects you to Seogeumwon’s complex support services prior to card issuance.

Director Kim Eun-kyung said, "This agreement is significant in that it is the first case of early detection of economic crisis signals with credit card companies and connection to support," and added, "We will practice 'people-saving finance' so that those in economic crisis are not excluded from finance and can bounce back."
