The Strategic Missile Forces are undergoing a planned comprehensive inspection of the Vladimir Missile Association.

During the exercises, crews of the Yars PGRK practice various tasks, including marches, dispersing missile battalions and overcoming sections of conditionally contaminated terrain.

The main goal of the exercises is to improve the coherence of military command and control bodies.

MOSCOW, October 8 - RIA Novosti. A planned control comprehensive inspection of the Vladimir Missile Association is taking place in the Strategic Missile Forces (RVSN), the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.

“In accordance with the training plan for the Strategic Missile Forces for 2026, the Strategic Missile Forces command commission is conducting a comprehensive control check of the Vladimir Missile Association with a command post exercise with a stationary missile formation under the leadership of the Strategic Missile Forces commander, Colonel-General Sergei Karakaev,” the statement says.

In addition, supporting forces, as well as attached formations of the Moscow Military District, are involved in solving practical problems. “In addition to the stationary missile formation, autonomous launchers of mobile missile formations of the Strategic Missile Forces were deployed on combat patrol routes as planned,” the statement said.

The Ministry of Defense added that during the exercises, crews of the Yars PGRK work out the issues of performing marches, dispersing missile divisions with changing field positions and overcoming sections of conditionally contaminated terrain, engineering equipment, organizing camouflage and security.

“Army aviation and units of unmanned systems of the Strategic Missile Forces with the widespread use of UAVs are used for aerial reconnaissance of the routes of movement of equipment, search and detection of conditional saboteurs,” the statement says.

The military department emphasized that the main goal of the exercises is to improve the coherence of military command and control bodies.

“During the inspection, the personnel of the association demonstrate a high level of training and readiness to carry out tasks as intended,” the message follows.
