A Gallup Korea poll showed that 41% had trust in the court and 47% had distrust, meaning that 4 to 5 out of 10 citizens do not trust the court. The distrust among supporters of the Democratic Party of Korea and the People Power Party is around 50%, and the distrust among supporters of the New Fatherland Innovation Party reaches 83%. As the Democratic Party of Korea allows the results of its own investigation into the suspicions of a group of Shincheonji church members to be viewed from the 6th to the 13th, pressure for an apology from Kim Min-seok, the leader of the pro-Blue faction, is intensifying. The pro-Cheong faction is calling for a 'true apology' and the disclosure of the results of the task force's investigation, while the mainstream pro-Myung faction lawmakers are protecting Representative Kim.
