Putin said Russia will use all weapons in case of attack

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that in the event of an attack, Russia will use all the weapons it has.

Putin emphasized that Russia has unique weapons that other countries do not have.

MOSCOW, October 1 - RIA Novosti. In the event of an attack on it, Russia will have to use its competitive advantages; the country has unique means of destruction, said Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“The issue of using all the weapons at the disposal of our country by the Russian Federation will inevitably and immediately appear on the agenda... We will have to use our competitive advantages in this fight. And what are they? And the fact is that in those means of protecting ourselves we have these competitive advantages,” Putin said at the plenary session of the 23rd annual meeting of the Valdai international discussion club.

“No one has the kind of weapons that Russia has today. And this is our competitive advantage,” the president emphasized.

The Valdai International Discussion Club is an association of leading foreign and Russian experts in the field of political science, economics, history and international relations. The club was created in September 2004 on the initiative of the RIA Novosti agency, the Council on Foreign and Defense Policy, and the magazines "Russia in Global Affairs" and Russia Profile. The club owes its name to the location of the first conference, which took place in Veliky Novgorod near Lake Valdai.
