The first training ground for training specialists in operating special equipment opened in Yamal

SALEKHARD, September 4 – RIA Novosti. The first training ground for special equipment management has opened in Yamal, where it is planned to graduate 890 specialists annually in 18 programs, said the regional governor Dmitry Artyukhov.

“Together with (Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Ecology, Natural Resources and Environmental Protection - ed.) Dmitry Kobylkin, we opened in Novy Urengoy the first training ground for specialists in operating special equipment in Yamal - part of our large fuel and energy complex cluster,” Artyukhov wrote in his channel on the Max platform.

According to the head of the region, for industrial Yamal such personnel are of strategic importance both in cities and in remote fields. The project will allow Yamal residents to obtain a sought-after profession and work from home. Artyukhov also noted that the scale of training will increase tenfold: annually at the training ground it is planned to graduate 890 specialists in 18 different programs.

“The training conditions are as close as possible to real life: a classroom, a garage for 18 cars, a range of special equipment - from excavators and bulldozers to truck cranes and all-terrain vehicles,” the governor added.
